Who We Are

To read about this tradition more fully, you can visit our Statement of Faith above, or dig even deeper with the link to the Westminster Confession of Faith. Here are some of our central beliefs:

We believe:

The whole Bible is the inspired Word of God. Since God’s truth doesn’t change with cultural preferences, it alone is our ultimate authority for what we believe and how we seek to live our lives.

There is only One God, the Creator of all things. In the Bible He reveals Himself as the Holy Trinity, one real and personal God Who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

All humanity is born in sin, that is, in rebellion against the One True God. Because of this we are under His wrath and curse, rather than having a blessed relationship with Him.

The good news, that in His mercy and love for us, God the Father sent Jesus Christ, His Son, into the world to save sinners by reconciling them to the Father. This Jesus did by taking God’s wrath for our sins on the cross, and giving His righteousness to us in its place. This He offers to anyone who believes in Him alone for salvation.

The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, working faith in their hearts and continuing His work of holiness within them. This growth in holiness is a progressive one that continues throughout life, never complete until we reach eternity.

King Jesus will return one day, raising the dead and sitting as Judge over all who have lived, giving them either eternal joy in the New Heavens and New Earth, or eternal punishment for their rebellion in Hell.
